Our client, a leading international group with around $30 billion in revenue per year and around 100,000 employees, is looking for a Six Sigma Expert (ideally Black Belt) to lead process improvement projects across their logistics operations across EMEA.
You will be working in a diverse team and look at solving problems and improving processes focusing on operational excellence.
You will work on developing and applying key and effective projects encouraging the need for transformation and change and manage the delivery of new capabilities.
A key aspect of this role will be the ability to provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the logistics teams delivering operational excellence training up to the level of Green Belt.
You will develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies as well as implement continuous improvement programs and ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization and measure their effectiveness.
In order to apply for the role it is likely you will have strong experience in similar roles in the logistics, distribution or related sectors, or from consulting. Having strong Lean Six Sigma experience is a prerequisite as is the ability to coach and train a variety of individuals on Six Sigma methodologies.
Equally you should be a candidate who has a demonstrable track record in managing and developing teams and excellent project management skills.
Preference is for candidates who speak Dutch and English language
